In 2011, she participated as the season's third runner up in The Next Iron Chef, and she has served as an Iron Chef judge since. She also competed on the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast which she fell short. Following The Following Iron Chef's season four,, she was appointed sous-chef by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She was the host of Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008, and she teaches a small group of students in how to recreate classic dishes.
