Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman is an American gymnast USA who took gold in the 2012 Olympics. In the end, she became the first American to compete at an Olympics with the highest number of medals. Her gold medal in the Olympics in 2016 was her second gold in a row for the American team. This made her, and fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this feat. In addition, she won two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. Also, she was a part of gold-winning American teams in the two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. She plans to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark collection of leotards. Fierce will be published later this summer.
